Sunshine Blogger Award!

Hello Lovelies ♡
Despite my blogging journey being challenging over the years, a ray of sunshine was sent to me in the form of two nominations on Twitter this past month and I am so thrilled to write this post today. The blogging community is so supportive and floating around in this blogging malarkey are a number of different awards that bloggers can nominate other bloggers for. I remember I got nominated for the Liebster Award many years ago and I felt like an excited child at Christmas. I remember acting like I had won an Oscar. I know I have grown up since then, but secretly I am screaming inside that I have been nominated for another award, not only once but TWICE!

"What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?" A little voice in my head asked, so I did a little digging and discovered that the award/ tag was for people "creative, positive and inspiring while spreading sunshine to the blogging community" When reading this I couldn't help but smile as this literally sum…

My Pamper Evening Routine - Collab

Hello Everyone ♡
It's that time of the year where many of you are back to school or university and a pamper evening is essential. Everyone needs a good old pamper once in a while and this week I started sixth form, so after a very long week, this pamper evening was much needed. Today's post is a collab with the lovely Batool's Beauty so make sure you head over to her blog and read her pamper routine. I don't know about you, but pamper routine posts make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Actually taking time out of our busy schedules can do us a world of good, especially if you fully switch off from the outside world and free yourself from your worries. Pamper evenings help clear my mind and make me feel better about myself. Of course you could invite some friends over and have a girly pamper night with lots of giggles and maybe even a sleepover, but personally, I enjoy indulging in a pamper evening with my own company. Here is my perfect pamper evening routine...

My Year 11 Guide

Hey Everyone ♡ So you've completed Year 10 and now you're heading for Year 11. Feeling anxious and apprehensive about what the next school year has in store for you? Well, you came to the right place. Today I am doing a highly requested post giving you my guide to Year 11. If you follow these tips and tricks your school year will be a breeze.
My Experience Just to give you some background information, I am heading to sixth form this year after completing Year 11, one of the hardest academic years of my life, yet also the best school year ever. I completed my GCSE's and I got out alive! But no, in all honesty, I survived and GCSE's have taught me some valuable motivation and life skills. The subjects I took were the compulsory English and maths, along with triple science, geography,  religious education, media studies and French. My results day was a couple of weeks ago and I got all A*'s and A's (9's, 8's and 7's on the new GCSE system), so if I can d…

50 Things to do This Summer!

Hello Lovelies ♡ Golden beaches, colourful ice cream, glorious sunshine, the sounds of waves crashing against the rocks and happiness! That sounds like my idea of a perfect summer. Although, summer doesn't always live up to our expectations, especially living in Britain. While we're in the midst of our summer holidays I thought I'd share some brilliant ideas you can do this summer in case any of you are getting bored and need some inspiration.

1. Have a picnic in the park
2. Have a girly sleepover, singing all your favourite childhood music and eating lots of sweet treats 3. Go bowling, I can't remember the last time I went 4. Go shopping in your town centre and see what bargains you can pick up 5. Plan an afternoon tea party for all of your friends 6. Go swimming 7. Have a summer campfire with blankets, imagine how cosy it would be 8. Put some headphones on and listen to music, you may as well have a dance off with yourself too! 9. Create a blog or blog more if you're a fel…

A New Beginning...

Hey Everyone ♡ I'd firstly like to ask you how are you all doing? I'm not sure how many of you are still around, I know I've been gone for a good old while now but I have missed you all so much. I can already tell this is going to be the hardest post I've ever written. I have been away for 3 years after all. Let's start at the beginning...

I started Pretty Perfect on Instagram back in 2013 when I was eleven years old. That seems totally insane now thinking about it, but at the time I was watching all the big YouTubers like Zoella, Tanya Burr and Sprinkle of Glitter, just to name a few. Eleven year old me wanted to be like them, I aspired to be them. I loved makeup, and YouTube taught me everything I needed to know, so one day I told my mom that I was going to create a pastel, makeup and beauty Instagram themed account. I wasn't very imaginative back then so my mom and I bounced some ideas around and we came up with the name Pretty Perfect. I still love it today k…

Back To School Tips/Advice - Collab

Hello Beauties ♡ It's that dreaded time of the year...we're all heading back to school, so today I and Chloe from the blog Chloe Marie have got together and are going to give you some tips and advice to make going back to school slightly more enjoyable.
1. Sleep - The biggest tip I can give is to focus and stay on top of your work. If you get lots of sleep it will help you do better at school and you will be able to stay focused for longer. Dragging yourself through the day just because you stayed up late on your phone the night before, will leave you feeling rough and you won't be able to concentrate. I know you think it's worth it at the time, to stay up late, but I promise you it really isn't the morning after and in the long run.
2. Being organised - People say that I am the most organised person they know. I like getting things done on time and in order. Try to get your bag packed the night before, so then you're not like a madman rushing around in the morni…
